While April showers may bring May flowers, this girl believes they bring a chance to sport some trendy outerwear! Today I paired an orange trimmed trench coat with a sequin pencil skirt, white button down, and a pair of tangerine colored pumps. The trench is both fashionable and functional, though originally trench coats were an item of clothing for Army officers for use in the trenches of World War 1. The fashionable part came much later. The sequin skirt is bold but the pencil style makes it sensible and so you can easily go from desk to dinner.
