FALLing for Autumn….

Autumn is a season of transition for us in the northeast….a time when we exchange our beach days for hay rides, our swimsuits for cardigans, and our cold brew for hot lattes.
Welcome to Fall… My favorite time of year and my favorite season for fashion. Autumn gifts us days when the mornings are often warm and the nights are chilly, giving us the perfect excuse to shop our closets or invest in cozy knits for that perfect autumnal outfit.
This denim pleated maxi dress is the perfect piece to illustrate flexibility. On this warmish day, I paired it back with this straw fedora and open toe heels. As the weather turns cooler, I could easily swap out the heels for suede boots, the straw hat for a wool rancher, and layer a cropped leather jacket… perfect for apple picking or apple martinis!
