When getting dressed, it’s important to have your old standbys that are reliable favorites you can wear whenever. If your closet is like a refrigerator, these clothes are the bread and eggs – something you should always have on hand. For me, this has always been jeans and a comfortable tee.
And when you want to dress up or put a twist on a classic, try a kimono! This oversized kimono is from Alice + Olivia and really ties together the red and pink tones I used throughout the outfit.
With all the beautiful colors in this kimono, I had a lot of options for what accessories to use. I added statement red and pink jewel earrings and a red bag to brighten up the outfit. I finished the look off with my signature sunnies and a neutral blush suede heel from Alice + Olivia. I decided to tuck in the tee and cinch the outfit with a leopard belt to play with prints and texture. This outfit proves that jeans and a tee are versatile pieces every wardrobe needs. They can be worn by themselves for the ultimate casual look, or a bit more sophisticated with fun accessories.
