A Summer Staple
Do you know the color of the year? Spoiler alert! I just might be wearing it in this post. Mix hot pink, raspberry, maroon and a hint of blue and what do you get?
Dresses are the epitome of versatility, making them an essential summer staple in my closet. Among the many styles, this summer dress stands out as my hero piece. Its effortless design makes it incredibly easy to wear. Whether I’m exploring a new city or lounging by the beach, the shirt dress proves to be an ideal companion for travel. Its adaptability knows no bounds, as it seamlessly transitions from casual daytime attire to an elegant evening ensemble with just a few accessory swaps. With the ability to dress it up or down, the shirt dress never fails to exude timeless charm and style, making it a true wardrobe hero.
The dress I chose to feature for this is the Chassidy Maxi Shirt Dress. My love for all things Alice and Olivia is no secret, and this is no exception. It’s light, breezy, and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I love the side slits for easy movement, making it perfect for a resort getaway. I also love the hues of blue, which can be mixed and matched with pops of bright colors or rattan.
Next, add your accessories. The rattan and straw bag trend is strong this summer, and I hope it stays that way. These pieces are classic and scream summer.
