As the winter season comes to an end and spring approaches, it can be challenging to put together an outfit that is both stylish and practical. The weather can be unpredictable, with chilly mornings and warm afternoons, so it is important to choose clothing that is versatile and comfortable. Where I am, it’s been a wintery-spring-like month with warm and cold temperatures taking turns each week. Layers are a must for the transition from winter to spring.

The hero piece of this outfit is this perfectly pink blazer….a color very close to Pantone’s color of the year named Viva Magenta. Crimson red, hot pink, fuchsia, raspberry, and maroon all rolled into one… What an exhilarating hue! This vibrant color is not for the faint at heart or those Neutral Nelly’s out there, but paired back with denim creates the perfect contrast for an effortless yet bold OOTD. A satin boyfriend blazer has become a staple in my wardrobe. This piece is also highly versatile and can be mixed and matched with so many outfits this spring. The pop of color is perfect for this season!

Next, add a pair of wide leg jeans to your outfit. Wide leg jeans are both comfortable and stylish, they can be dressed up or down, paired with a silky tank top for summer evenings out, or worn with a button down and blazer combo for the office. They will be the work horse denim of your closet.

These platform mary jane sandals are so fun. I love the blue color, which can be paired with neutrals or brights, cropped trousers or a midi skirt as well. I added this Chanel bag in a very similar blue to compliment each other. They pair nicely with the classic French blue striped button-down, which is another staple piece I’ll be grabbing all season long.
