This past weekend (despite what the calendar says) was Autumn at its best…..sunny, crisp, and colorful.  Today’s look is my homage to what’s left of my favorite season. My color palette was very simple…I chose a marsala color day dress to start.  Marsala was the pantone color for 2015 and its reddish-brown tone emanates a sophisticated, natural warm earthiness, which also flatters many different skin tones.   This mini dress has a drop waist and a mock neck so I added a wedge knee boot to balance the overall length.  Lastly, I chose a black and white fur trimmed statement coat that becomes the transition piece needed for evening and cooler temperatures.    Another styling option could  have been to layer this dress with a fur vest or fuzzy cardigan, add tights, ankle boots, and you’re ready for winter.HT3A3296HT3A3312
