I recently visited the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, a structure rich in both history and style. It was designed by gilded age architect Stamford White and is located within the Newport Casino, a resort for Newport’s wealthiest turn-of-the-century summer residents.
Today it provided me with the perfect backdrop for my personal take on tennis fashion after a champagne brunch. This Alice + Olivia dress sports a pleated hem, button front, and A line silhouette. I swapped out my own Wilson tennis racquet for a vintage find, generously loaned to me by the HOF gift shop, and added a pair of Stella McCartney platforms in lieu of my court shoes. I layered a Kelly green cardigan for contrast and…GAME, SET, MATCH!!
