This season my favorite accessory has been this plaid blanket scarf…..it’s voluminous, it’s warm, and it’s a nod to the plaid trend that’s been so popular lately.  Now the trick to mixing prints is to match colors, not the prints themselves nor the scale of the prints.  For example, the print of the scarf is smaller than the print of the coat.  The dominant colors are black, white, and red….always a winning combo!  I kept the rest of the outfit simple:  crisp white button down, denim jacket, leather leggings, and jodhpurs…but an urban take on a classic boot with a patent leather toe, a platform in the front, and a 4″ heel.
