The streets of New York City never disappoint and are full of unexpected surprises….surprises which can even turn a simple lunch date into an opportunity for an impromptu photo shoot.  This mural is a Nick Walker creation that I came across in the Flatiron district. HT3A9474The streets of New York City never disappoint and are full of unexpected surprises….surprises which can even turn a simple lunch date into an opportunity for an impromptu photo shoot.  This mural is a Nick Walker creation that I came across in the Flatiron district.

Thankfully, I was dressed for NYC with an ensemble that covered the bases…whether it was warm or chilly,  I was prepared.  The vest/cape was the focal point for my outfit and the monochromatic look beneath was definitely intended to emphasize this piece, which looked great whether open or belted closed.  The lug soled heels gave me a tough city girl look, but to soften the overall look I chose a neutral structured bag.HT3A9497HT3A9509HT3A9619HT3A9567HT3A9605HT3A9568
