March madness?

I always feel like this time of year in the Northeast can be maddening…snow one day, spring-like temperatures the next! It leaves us planning our daily outfit with the 5 day forecast in mind. My solution?  Layer thin separates, then peel away as needed! And for girls in the know, layering can also apply to March madness?

I always feel like this time of year in the Northeast can be maddening…snow one day, spring-like temperatures the next! It leaves us planning our daily outfit with the 5 day forecast in mind.

My solution?  Layer thin separates, then peel away as needed! And for girls in the know, layering can also apply to your jewelry, especially rings or bracelets.

Today, I layered a basic tank with a violet silk blouse, and then added a black and white tweed blazer to contrast with the blouse. The ripped skinny jeans also served as another juxtaposition for the tailored blazer.  Last but not least, I pulled the look together with my version of the iconic blue suede shoes!

As for accessories, I’m wearing a Pashli mini satchel, a crossbody bag that I’m loving right now.  In fact, you’ll see a lot of these mini bags in boutiques this season as this trend is building in popularity.

So don’t let your mood or your look be dictated by the weather!  Shake things up by layering….your clothes AND your jewels.

Absolutely adore the ring combination from this outfit! I’m looking to add some rings to my wardrobe… Is there a right way to stack rings? Yours always look great together!

    • Thanks Maria!
One way to stack rings might be to group like metals or styles. ie. silver, crystals, chunky, thin, gold, etc. Or mix styles but keep one common thread… But try different combos and have fun with it. Accessories are the frosting on the cake!
