Boot shoot.

It’s winter  so it’s time to review your boot wardrobe as boots can go with jeans, leggings, skirts, or even dresses.  Here are a few of my favorites: This Alice + Olivia  “bootie” is a black lace-up with a red lug sole ….and I love them!  The platform makes walking in them easier than they look.  And Boot shoot.

HT3A8301 It’s winter  so it’s time to review your boot wardrobe as boots can go with jeans, leggings, skirts, or even dresses.  Here are a few of my favorites:

HT3A8303This Alice + Olivia  “bootie” is a black lace-up with a red lug sole ….and I love them!  The platform makes walking in them easier than they look.  And the lace-up front is a great detail….although the side zip makes getting them on and off a snap. They even come with a removable ankle sock! They remind me of a really edgy hiking boot.

HT3A8286This boot has a black, baseball stitch with tassle zipper and is a great day to night boot. They are by Schutz, which is Alexandre Birman’s younger, contemporary line with a more affordable price point.  They are fitted around the ankle so they look great with a skirt and tights, or with skinny jeans that slouch.

HT3A8311This black boot is another Alice + Olivia number….a suede wedge bootie!  I like the zipper detail and how they fold over.  It reminds me of wearing leg warmers.  I would wear these with skinnys’ or long leggings to tuck in. And worn with darker bottoms, you can elongate your leg.

HT3A8339This burgundy/black bootie is by Sergio Rossi and they are fierce…lug sole, zippers, 5″ heel, interesting lacing…so much so that they need to be balanced with a softer, feminine look on top like a flouncy feminine skirt.
