This blush trench coat has become my new “summer cardigan.” The color, also described as rose quartz, has made a huge impact on the fashion world this year. Blush is a great neutral that adds just a touch of color….it’s like beige got a facelift…and pairs well with almost anything. My favorite color combo is pairing it with white, denim or navy. This color also adds a romantic twist on a classic coat and I love how it looks when draped open with the belt tied loosely in back. In the past we’ve seen trench coats relegated to the fall or spring “rainy” seasons, now with many different colors and weights, they have become a three season topper. I would wear this coat deep into the fall season with a cashmere turtleneck or a fitted sweater underneath. Add leather leggings and a boot and walk straight into the cooler months.
