As I was getting dressed for this shoot, I decided to multi-task and bring my dogs along for a walk.  I am obsessed with my 2 pups!  They both have a distinct personality that I simply adore.

Tango, a German shepherd, is a big mush who loves to cuddle, play fetch, and (strangely enough) bask in the sun.  Freddy is a miniature Australian shepherd and is outgoing, stubbornly independent, and can jump straight up in the air as high as my shoulders!  Needless to say, getting them to sit still for pictures was no small task….but they seemed happy to be able to help out today!

On to the outfit…

The dress:  a spandex A-line silhouette, great for summer travelling as it’s wrinkle free and gives you a great hourglass shape.  The print on this dress is modern, but somehow timeless.

The shoes: I paired this dress with Charlotte Olympia rose gold heels from the Runaway Bride Collection….which matches the painted zipper on this dress perfectly.

The bag:  a lacquered wooden bag by UK fashion company, Rocio.  My favorite find of this summer, it was discovered in a beautiful little boutique in Cape May, NJ called “White by Viviane Rowan Design.” Rocio designs are created by hand over a 19 stage process that can take up to 4 weeks!  Truly a work of art!
